REAL WORLD 2009 Husaberg Testimonial

Its one thing to read all of the great reviews of the 2009, ALL NEW, Husaberg FE models in various magazines, however, real-life riders' testimonials mean more to us because of an individuals perspective based on what he/she currently rides and whether or not he/she races, trail rides or just likes to look at bikes in their living room. Below is one (of I'm sure many to come) testimonial from an OMRA series "Expert Class" Cross Country Racer who decided to go into his test/demo ride with skepticism.

BikeBarn, Thanks for the demo ride you allowed me this past weekend on the 09 Husaberg. What an amazing bike! As you know I purchased on 08 Husaberg FE450 last year from you guys and have enjoyed the heck out of it. I have about 60 hours on it and it has been completely reliable and really a fantastic ride. Thanks to Dave, I was fortunate enough to ride my current bike and then the 09 450 back to back on the same 20 mile loop, and all I can say is Wow! I have heard all the hype about the 09, and to be honest have been a bit of a skeptic, I mean, how can those changes really make that much difference? I was wrong. This bike truly is a huge step beyond any four stroke 450 I have ever ridden. They say it feels like a 250, and that is spot on. The ‘turnability’ is truly amazing, and that combined with the updated suspenders and fuel injection make this bike want to be ridden hard without the fatigue of a ‘normal’ 450. How the engineers could have done so well on a first year re-design is truly amazing, and I would be shocked if the other manufactures do not quickly follow suit. While I had fun riding my 08 450 on that loop, I had an absolute blast on the new ‘berg. As far as I can tell the only issues with this new bike is going to be convincing the wife that I need a new bike, and then lining up the cash to get it done. Hopefully this will happen before you guys sell out your stock. I am sure that whomever rides this bike will have the same dilemma, and I hope to beat them to the finish line.
